The Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing customer orders and transactions. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented, ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

About the  job

RESPONSABILITIES


  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival.


  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.


  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.


  • Provide accurate change and receipts to customers.


  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.


  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cash register and surrounding areas.


  • Assist with food preparation and packaging as needed during busy periods.


  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.


  • Restock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.


  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.


  • Perform opening and closing duties as required.


  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.


 

QUALIFICATIONS


  • High school diploma or equivalent.


  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.


  • Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.


  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.


  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.
