RESPONSABILITIES
Prepare and cook a variety of grilled menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Operate and maintain grill equipment, ensuring it is clean and in proper working order.
Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet established standards.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders.
Manage inventory of grill ingredients and notify management of any shortages.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
Adhere to portion control and waste reduction practices.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of other menu items as needed.
Participate in opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of the grill station.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
Knowledge of grilling techniques and equipment operation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
